On the 6th of March, 2024, the Ambassador of Italy to Malaysia, H.E. Massimo Rustico, our Chamber’s President and Secretary General, Mr Michele Dossi and Ms Erika Angelozzi, had the opportunity to attend the prestigious Generali and United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) event.
Themed “Building SME Resilience in Asia. Protecting SMEs to Protect the Future”, the event was graced by the presence of distinguished VIPs, including representatives from the Malaysian Ministry of Finance, Bank Negara Malaysia, and the SME Association of Malaysia.
The event marked a pivotal moment in fortifying SME resilience in Asia, with insightful discussions and presentations on innovative solutions, as well as addressing key challenges faced by small and medium-sized enterprises.
The occasion also provided a platform to delve into the intricacies of the joint research on MSME resilience in Southeast Asia, emphasizing Malaysia and Thailand. From the unveiling of the ‘Building MSME Resilience in Southeast Asia’ research report to the presentation of the SME Loss Prevention Framework and the expansion of Generali’s flagship SME EnterPRIZE project to Asia, each facet highlighted the dedication to holistic and innovative solutions.
