What an unforgettable evening of film, flavour, and authentic Italian culture! On Sunday, 7 June 2026, The Drawing Room at Yap Ah Shak House was transformed into a celebration of cinema and cucina italiana.
From the heartwarming Roman comedy Pranzo di Ferragosto to the legendary neorealist masterpiece Ladri di Biciclette, our guests journeyed through the streets of Rome without ever leaving Kuala Lumpur.
An evening this magical wouldn’t have been possible without our wonderful co-organiser and collaborators. A massive thank you to Yap Ah Shak House for providing the perfect, cozy backdrop for our cinematic evening, Osteria Gamberoni for the pass-around canapés inspired by dishes featured in the film. Luen Heng F&B and Cinzano Vermouth for keeping our glasses full with exquisite, film-inspired cocktails.
Most importantly, GRAZIE MILLE to everyone who turned up, shared a laugh, toasted with us, and celebrated the beautiful bond between Italian films and food. Ci vediamo alla prossima!
