Grazie mille for an unforgettable evening at Buon Appetito: Emilia-Romagna! On 19 September 2026, Tasting Italy Edition #03 celebrated the flavours and culture of one of Italy’s most beloved regions. Chef Paolo Guiati brought Emilia-Romagna to the table with iconic favourites including gnocco fritto, taglieri misti, Cappelletti in Brodo and Lasagne alla Bolognese.
The evening was made even more special by a performance from KL City Opera, featuring tenor James Long and soprano Yap Zhuo Ling, with selections including “Non ti scordar di me”, “Tu che di gel sei cinta” from Turandot, and “La ci darem la mano” from Don Giovanni. A fitting musical tribute to Emilia-Romagna, the birthplace of legendary tenor Luciano Pavarotti.
Guests also went home with house-made grissini from La Grassa and Fabbri Herbamelle mints, another special touch with roots in Emilia-Romagna.
