Italcham Malaysia is proud to have supported the Italy–Malaysia Business Mission 2026, jointly organised by the Italian Trade Agency, the Embassy of Italy in Kuala Lumpur, and Confindustria, in collaboration with key institutional and business partners.
Held at the Mandarin Oriental Kuala Lumpur, the mission brought together over 300 Italian and Malaysian stakeholders to strengthen bilateral cooperation and explore new opportunities across infrastructure & transport, oil & gas, energy transition, and advanced manufacturing.
The programme featured a full day of high-level engagements, including a Focus on Italy–Malaysia Growing Economic Ties session, where Italcham Malaysia President Michele Dossi had the pleasure of participating alongside Marco Forzini (ITA – Italian Trade Agency) and Marco Felisati (Confindustria), contributing to the dialogue on strengthening bilateral economic relations.
The programme featured a full day of high-level engagements, including a dedicated session on financial instruments supporting Italian companies, with contributions from CDP, EPF/KWSP, SACE, Invest Selangor, and SIMEST, as well as a breakout session on the EU–Malaysia FTA, followed by networking exchanges among delegations.
Parallel sectoral roundtables enabled structured dialogue between Italian and Malaysian stakeholders, fostering collaboration across key strategic sectors.
On day 2 (30 June), featured corporate meetings and site visits across infrastructure, oil & gas, and advanced manufacturing, offering first-hand insights into Malaysia’s industrial and innovation ecosystem.
