Warung Putih Cucina Italiana
Located in the Bangsar neighbourhood of Lorong Kurau, Warung Putih Cucina Italiana is designed as a relaxed, neighbourhood restaurant that celebrates the heart of Italian cooking through regional Italian food, bringing one to Italy with every bite. At its core is traditional ‘cucina italiana’ philosophy, centred around an open, walk-in kitchen where diners can watch, and even engage with the chefs at work.
The name itself reflects the restaurant’s identity: ‘Warung’ draws from the relaxed, communal spirit of Malaysian living, reinterpreted through the Italian concept of la dolce vita, while ‘Putih’, meaning “white”, references the restaurant’s light, clean, and natural interior—evoking the breezy charm of coastal Italy. Together, they create a rustic, welcoming space designed for long lunches and unhurried dinners.
