14 October 2023, The Italian Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong and Macao
On 14th October, Italcham Malaysia’s President, Mr Michele Dossi and Operations Manager, Ms Sue Anne Choo attended the Italian Chambers of Commerce Abroad (ICC) Area Meeting in Hong Kong!
Among the participants, there were representatives from:
- Italcham Malaysia – Italian Chamber of Commerce in Malaysia
- Italian Chamber of Commerce in the Philippines – ICCPI
- Thai – Italian Chamber of Commerce (TICC)
- The Indo-Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IICCI)
- ICCI Melbourne
- Italian Chamber of Commerce & Industry in Australia – Perth
- Italian Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam – ICHAM
and of course the two organizers from China-Italy Chamber of Commerce and The Italian Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong and Macao!
Present at the meeting was also the PRC Ambassador Massimo Ambrosetti, who underlined the great role and responsibility held by ICCs in supporting Italian PMI in the internalization process.
The focus of the meeting was then directed towards how to increase ICCs credibility by pushing for an improvement of internal governance; aligned communication through a shared platform; and systematic sharing of good practices between ICCs.
The success of this meeting was confirmed not only by the numerous participants but also by the presence of Dr Mauriello from Assocamerestero, representing more and more unity and willingness by ICCs to create synergies and work together to support Italian business internalization.
