On the 10th of June, we successfully concluded our Annual General Meeting 2025 at Universiti Kuala Lumpur (UniKL), bringing together our esteemed members and distinguished guests from the Italian–Malaysian business community for a morning of purposeful dialogue and meaningful networking over a curated Italian breakfast.
We were honoured to welcome the following guests of honour: Ms. Clara Cualbu, Chargé d’Affaires, Embassy of Italy in Kuala Lumpur; Ms. Adele Di Lullo, Head of Commercial Section, Embassy of Italy in Kuala Lumpur; Mr. Michele Dossi, President, Italcham Malaysia; Mr Luciano Pezzotta, Vice President, Italcham Malaysia; Ms. Erika Angelozzi, Managing Director, Italcham Malaysia.




The meeting also featured the Ospitalità Italiana Ceremony, which recognises food establishments in Malaysia that excel in Italian hospitality.
Following the AGM, we hosted a high-level Economic Panel Discussion on Strengthening Malaysia-Italy Trade & Investment: Opportunities in a Changing Global Landscape.
The discussion began with an opening presentation titled Italian Companies in Southeast Asia: Growth Strategies in a Shifting Global Landscape by Mr. Giacomo Degli Innocenti, Head of Strategy & Sales Intelligence CRIF Asia, followed by a panel session featuring:
– Mr. Jason Cheng, Director of Special Projects, InvestKL
– Mr. Simone Lovati, Managing Director, Asia, CRIF Asia
– Mr. Carmelo Ferlito CEO, Center for Market Education
– Mr. Andrea Passeri, Programme Director, BA International Relations, Taylor’s University
The session was moderated by Mr. Roshan Kanesan, Producer, BFM 89.9.
The panel concluded with Leadership Insights: The UniKL-Fassi Teaching Factory Success story featuring:
– Mr Michele Dossi, President, Italcham Malaysia
– Prof. Ir. Dr. Azmi Bin Hassan, Deputy President, International, Industrial, Institutional Partnership, Universiti Kuala Lumpur (UniKL)
