Founded in 1976 by the Proietti and Romagnoli families and based in Bevagna, in the Province of Umbria, Erreppi aims to  to produce innovative agricultural equipment and vehicles. 

Erreppi also owns a steel fabricating Company for manufacture of precision steel products. Its annual production is circa 1000 units with 50 of production being exported into other EU countries. The company aims to further expand its exports worldwide and this could include some technology transfer(s) to overcome importation difficulties.
