Italcham Malaysia proudly participated as a supporting partner for the Italian Food & Beverage Singapore 2024!
Organised by the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Singapore (ICCS), the event took place from 3-4 July at the Suntec Convention Centre, Singapore.
Showcasing the Quality of Italian Brands
The event aimed to introduce businesses, producers, and distributors to a diverse array of Italian products and services, featuring 36 Italian companies. Notable participants included Brazzale S.p.A., renowned in the dairy industry for its cheese products; Agrioil S.p.A., a key player in the olive oil sector; and D&D Italia S.p.A., famous for their preserved vegetables, sauces, and gourmet foods.
Additionally, distributors specializing in wine, truffles, and chocolates such as Bellenda S.r.l. (high-quality Prosecco), Selektia Italia S.r.l. (truffles), and Laica S.p.A. (chocolates) also showcased their products. Attendees from Italy and the APAC region explored these offerings through numerous tasting opportunities of high-quality Italian wine, pasta, sauces, sweets, cheese, and other niche products. With all products 100% made in Italy, the event highlighted the premium quality of Italian goods.
Diverse Business Activities to Broaden Your Outlook
The event provided a platform for buyers to have their business needs addressed comprehensively while offering Italian enterprises planning to enter the Asia Pacific market valuable networking and growth opportunities. Exhibitors and buyers interacted face-to-face in a conducive space with on-hand assistance for detailed product information, including price lists, catalogs, and brochures. Both parties engaged in mutual learning and development.
An Introduction and Homage to Italian Culture
Through the variety of Italian products and brands, participants explored and gained a deeper appreciation of Italian cuisine and culture, fostering a greater understanding and appreciation not only in Singapore but also beyond.
“In 2023, the total export of Italian food and beverage reached Euro 64 billion, 5.7% more than in 2022. APAC markets represent a strategic area of growth for Italian companies, and Singapore, thanks to its vibrant economy and an efficient logistics hub, is the springboard for the expansion of Italian food and beverage in the Region. IFBS represents the only food and beverage event for Italian companies in the APAC Region,” said Giacomo Marabiso, Managing Director of the Italian Chamber of Commerce Singapore.
We would like to thank ICCS for offering our Chamber and our members this wonderful opportunity for collaboration.
Here’s to continued partnership and success!
