The MYXpats Centre was established in 2015 as a subsidiary of Talent Corporation Malaysia Berhad (TalentCorp), under the Ministry of Human Resources, to streamline expatriate services and support Malaysia’s goal of becoming a hub for high-skilled talent.

In collaboration with the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Immigration Department of Malaysia, MYXpats manages key immigration processes for expatriates, including

• Employment Pass (EP)
• Residence Pass–Talent (RP-T)
• Professional Visit Pass (PVP)
• Dependant Pass (DP)
• Long-Term Social Visit Pass (LT-SVP)
• and Social Visit Pass-Internship (SVP-i)

In line with efforts to enhance efficiency and policy alignment, the Xpats Gateway platform was launched on 15 June 2023. This single-window digital platform integrates with 26 regulatory agencies to simplify the issuance of supporting letters and expedite the expatriate application process. Companies are tiered based on indicators such as sector, revenue, and compliance history, with Fast Track processing available for top-tier and critical sector companies—enabling approvals within three working days.
