The esteemed award ceremony, hosted by the Ministry of Tourism, Arts, and Culture, took place on 29 April 2024. The ASEAN MICE Venue Standards are highly regarded within the industry, covering three essential categories: Meeting/Conference Venue or Room, Exhibition Venue, and Event Venue.
These standards specifically focus on meeting/conference venues within a hotel or resort setting, encompassing three key criteria: Physical Setting, Technology, and Service. MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) venues play a key role in the selection of destinations for MICE activities. The adherence to these standards underscores a commitment to professionalism and enhances the capacity and competitiveness of MICE entrepreneurs in catering to both organizers and visitors.
The AMVS comprises 55 indicators across the three categories, with each indicator aimed at ensuring the highest standards of quality and service for meeting venues within hotel settings. These indicators are meticulously designed to address various aspects, including the physical environment, technological infrastructure, and service excellence.
