On 22 March 2024, our Chamber hosted a remarkable Stakeholder Synergy Breakfast themed Madani Economy and NIMP 2030: New Era for Malaysia-Italy Business Collaboration!
Over 30 Italian and Malaysian companies, including our valued Corporate Chamber members, came together for a dynamic exchange. The event featured enriching discussions and an interactive Q&A session, moderated by Mr. Luciano Pezzotta, Board Member of Italcham Malaysia, and Deputy Chairman of EUROCHAM Malaysia.

During the fireside chat session, several key lessons emerged:
– The Madani Economi framework will boost economic and social development, ensuring sustainable growth and social stability.
– Development will be driven by high-quality investments in 6 growth engines, namely the reindustrialization driven by the NIMP 2030, the green transition, digital transformation, world-class infrastructure and public service, focus on high-value services, and synergistic vertical integration of the States.
– The establishment of an FTA between Malaysia and the EU has strong support from the Government and will facilitate the participation of Italian and EU businesses in the execution of the Madani Economi framework.
